How were you introduced to working in Child Nutrition Programs?

 

I was always aware of child nutrition programs but had no clue that specific jobs for Registered Dietitians were available. When the position for Utica opened, I simply found it by chance on a job forum in February 2024 and the rest is history.

 

Describe the different positions you have had in Child Nutrition Programs:

 

I am a Registered Dietitian within Utica Schools up to this point but dabble in roles like technology support to assist our staff.

 

What is your favorite part of the workday?

 

My favorite part of the workday is that no day is the same. There are always new projects, new challenges, and new people to interact with. This keeps things interesting and fresh.

 

What is your favorite thing to do away from the workday?

 

I enjoy reading, going to live music shows and weightlifting. Travel is my favorite activity, however. I’ve explored 6 states and 2 countries in 2025!
